Baby William

There is nothing quite like a Fresh 48 session. Those first couple of days in the hospital with your newborn may go by in a complete haze of exhilaration and exhaustion, but with a Fresh 48 newborn session you can capture that raw emotion and treasure it always. 

I was so excited to get the call that baby boy William had made his way into the world at St. Vincent's in Carmel this past weekend. I had a wedding in Chicago and had just come home, so I might add I think this bundle of joy also has impeccable timing! 

William was 9 lbs, 7 oz, and 22 inches long. He was born at noon on June 9th and as soon as I walked into the room I could feel the overwhelming joy Holly and Adam were feeling in finally welcoming their baby boy. 

One of my favorite moments, as you'll see below, is when baby boy clasped his little hand around his Daddy's finger and Mom just laid her hand over his. The bond between parents and son has definitely already formed. 

William came out with the perfect amount of dark hair and his skin was smooth, he really looked like a little doll. Using the hospital bassinet, I was able to create one of my favorite portraits, a close up of newborn Will from behind and his face reflected in the bassinet wall. 

Baby boy had the longest toes and his feet still had the cutest crinkles. Babies change so quickly, so I always want to take photographs of their hair, their hands, their toes, their faces, these are the Fresh 48 images parents will treasure forever.
