Allison Mansion Wedding

I was so fortunate to be a part of this beautiful downtown Indianapolis wedding at the state house. This couple was just the sweetest. Any time hints of the couple's favorite things or personality are injected into a wedding is fun, and this bride and groom did that in the greatest way. 

Sprinkled among the receptions were Game of Thrones references. Some were more direct- they had frames on each table describing what "house" from the television show that table was. Then each guest's take home item was three eggs painted to look like the dragon eggs from the show. 

I found a small succulent plant at the venue for the wedding ring shot. How gorgeous is this bride's engagement ring?

Another small nod to the show is the groom's replacement of his boutonniere. Instead he wore a broach that the "hand to the king (or queen!)" wears on the show. There definitely were not costumes or anything at this wedding, just little fun things here and there to show their mutual interests. 

These kids were having the best time at this wedding! They loved having their picture taken, they loved being in the wedding ceremony, they loved dancing the night away at the reception! Those smiles speak volumes about these tiny humans.

First looks are such special moments. I love watching the groom's face the first time he sees his soon to be wife. This wedding was the perfect blend of elegance, style, and comfort. The groom didn't wear a jacket, has his sleeves rolled up, but the bride's dress says anything but the word casual. From her veil to her lacy dress to her bouquet, she looked immaculate. 

The wedding party definitely had the greatest time. Don't you love how the groom's tie matches the bridal party's dresses. Those pants are a perfect compliment as well. I loved the energy of love and happiness everyone had all day at this wedding and reception after. 

Just one more of the ring bearers! I can't help it, they are just too cute!

I couldn't be happier for this bride and groom, their lovely family and friends, they had the perfect special day. The state house even seemed like something right out of one of the castles on Game of Thrones, so we had to get some bride and groom portraits here. Congratulations to the happy couple!
